On November 27, Dr. Liat Ben David, CEO of the Davidson Institute of Science Education at the Weizmann Institute, hosted a special Zoom update for the global Weizmann community.
In this fourth installment in a Zoom series called “Weizmann on the Home Front,” Dr. Ben David led a conversation about how the Davidson Institute is supporting children and displaced families across Israel during the war.
“In a world that has become chaotic, our science education is one of the best ways we have to develop a sense of rationality within that chaos,” Dr. Ben David shared.
Dr. Ben David was joined by Eli Amedi, Director, Ofakim Science Education Gap-Year Program; Ily Yahiel, Gap Year graduate and current Israel Air Force solider; and Dr. Michal Topaz, Head of Sustainability Education.
