In this installment of the Institute’s Favorite Spots and Hidden Gems video series, astrophysicist Prof. Oded Aharonson takes us to the Koffler Particle Accelerator, the distinctive structure topped with the Kraar Observatory.
Prof. Aharonson discusses space-related projects underway, including ULTRASAT – a satellite he will use to search for exoplanets. The structure is his favorite place on campus because the accelerator and telescope show the faith that Weizmann puts in its scientists … and because he feels closer to the stars.
