Please join the worldwide Weizmann Institute family as the 2009 Nobel Prize in Chemistry is awarded to Professor Ada Yonath, the Martin S. and Helen Kimmel Professor of Structural Biology.
Prof. Yonath is the first Weizmann scientist to receive a Nobel Prize, and the first Israeli woman ever to win a Nobel. We are so proud of Prof. Yonath’s scientific achievements and the recognition she, the Weizmann Institute, and Israel are receiving.
The Nobel Prize award ceremony takes place in Stockholm, Sweden, on Thursday, December 10. Click on this link to watch the ceremony at 10:30 a.m. EST.
